Pit-Bull VX is the brand-new armored SWAT truck of Alpine which will make its debut at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference at the end of this month. This kind of truck provides the best protection from all sorts of attacks ranging from small firearms to major mine blasts.
Alpine Armoring is a leading supplier and manufacturer of SWAT Trucks to police and military organizations all over the world. VX is a bullet-and-blast resistant box on wheels. Moreover, every window on the vehicle is filled with ballistic glass that'll shed small arms fire like they're pebbles and even resist a close-range shot from a high-powered rifle (up to 7.62x39 and 5.56x45). Interestingly, Pit-Bull VX is actually underweight. In spite of the addition of armoring, the VX weighs in at just 16,600 pounds. Especially, Alpine, the company which armored the VX, has maintained the stock dashboard, OEM seats and the controls work just like in a Ford F-550 for the driver and the front passenger. The changes are seen at the back of this car, starting with the angled roof and floor, going through gear and ending with the invincibility against mines and modern frag explosives. “If you’re a bad guy and you see this rolling up, you may start to reconsider the bad choices you’ve made in life.” said Alpine’s Ron.
This is the brand-new armored vehicle named Pit-Bull VX SWAT Truck which will debut later in October 2011. Pit-Bull VX looks full of power
The outside appearance is so striking that it differs from common cars that Alpine ever produces
Pit-Bull VX is based on the Ford F-550, armored turbo diesel V8 engine 6.7 from top to bottom. All windows are equipped with ballistic glass. According to Alpine, there is no one having been killed in a vehicle armored by the company

The only way you can see it is to rob a bank or read along as the producers exclusively took it out on its first mission
SWAT is expected to sell the trucks at $200,000 per vehicle
Despite the wonderful ports for attack, the vehicle offers little freedom when you want to go offensive on the attackers
Every door overlaps with ballistic steel so no stray bullets can penetrate at an angle
