According to STX Europe shipbuilding group, the 5,400-passenger ship Allure of the Seas will soon be over Oasis of the Seas to become the world\'s largest passenger ship. Starting to be constructed in February of 2008, Allure has the same size as Oasis, 225,282 tons heavy, 361.8 meters long and 63. 4 meters wide. Moreover, some Royal Caribbean officials claim that Allure is actually 5 meters longer than one-year-old Oasis. Like Oasis, Allure is characterized by a Central Park, a Royal Promenade, and an Entertainment zone. The 16-deck ship will have as many as 8,460 people onboard including the crew, which makes Allure a city at sea.
Until now, the construction of Allure is nearly to be completed and officials have no difficulty in taking the ship to Fort Lauderdale for inaugural activities in November and official debut on December 1st. Allure, which cost around $1.2 billion, will have several-week voyage from Fort Lauderdale.
